Kayaking in Sugar Run PA


1 FULL DAY, Kayaking & Wine Tasting

Together we explore the upper reaches of the Susquehanna River by kayak, canoe or paddle board.


Starting at Endless Mountain Outfitters we will easily get out on the water for just a few hours.  This river journey offers beautiful landscapes along the glistening water.  Offering a day of relaxation and an enjoyable journey with a few friends and family.

Is this tour for me?

If you haven't been kayaking or canoeing for years (or maybe this is your first time with a paddle in your hand) then you'll be enchanted with this easy canoe option.  We take care of the logistics to ensure you have a sturdy canoe, good paddles and life jackets and teach you the basics of canoeing.

PICKUP / DROP OFF: ELITE COACH PARKING, EPHRATA
1685 W. MAIN ST. EPHRATA, PA 17522

PICK UP TIME: APRPOX. 6AM

DROP OFF TIME: APPROX. 9:30PM

After we end our kayak journey we will take a short trip down the road to enjoy burgers and hotdogs on a beautiful vineyard, enjoying a wine tasting at Grovedale Winery and listening to music.

DAY TRIP ITINERARY

  • BUS PICK UP

    Depart from Elite Coach Parking Lot Aproximately 6am

  • ARRIVAL AT SUGAR RUN, PA

    Arrival at Endless Mountain Outfitters

    in Sugar Run, PA  approximately 9am.



  • KAYAKING / CANOEING

    We have a short discussion about kayaking / canoeing along the Susquehanna River on a guided trip that is about an hour.  Very relaxed paddle down stream.  


    You can sit back and just take your time going a comfortable speed for you.

  • WINE TASTING / COOKOUT

    After we finish our kayaking adventure we will take a short bus ride to Grovedale Winery that is about 15 minutes from Endless Mountain Outfitters.


    At the Grovedale Winery you will enjoy a relaxing cookout on the beautiful grounds of the winery.  You will have time to sit and enjoy a cookout with an enjoyable time of wine tasting and learning about the vineyard and the family's farm.

  • DEPART SUGAR RUN

    At approximately 3pm in the afternoon we will load up our wine purchases and ride the bus back to Elite Coach parking lot with a stop at the half way point for a sit down restaurant for a good meal before we continue our way home.

  • BUS DEPARTURE:

    After a good meal we will relax on the bus and head for home, arriving back in Ephrata approximately 9:30pm at Elite Coach Parking Lot.
